How to reserve a tour with us:
1) Once you have browsed our sample tours, send us an email and
we will work with you to plan your tour - where to go, what to
see and do, tour dates and pricing.
2) As soon as we have agreed a sample schedule, dates and price,
read our tour 'Terms and Condition' below, complete our quick
booking form and click on submit button. Then send us your deposit
(see details on booking form).
3) Once we have received your deposit, we will book your rooms
and send you your confirmation.
4) We will send you some short travel guidelines before your departure.
Our guide will meet you at the airport for the start of your tour.
NOTE: Insider Tours are about authenticity. Expect home-cooked
food; the warmth and generosity of local hosts; the occasional
uncertainties of local transport; and clean, but simple, facilities
when camping or in ecolodges and homestays.
Looking for luxury and privacy? that's not a problem. We can arrange
for accommodation that suits your needs. For privacy, we recommend
that you combine one of our tours with some final rest time on
your own. We can help you arrange this,
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Reservation deposit
A deposit of £150/$200 per person (deductible) is due at
the time of reserving your tour. Payment is by UK pounds sterling
(cheques) or bank transfer. If it is via bank transfer –
you will cover the costs of the transfer.
Tour price
Full payment of the balance is due 45 days before your tour date.
The tour price quoted is based on the agree schedule. Changes
to the schedule may incur additional costs.
Travel insurance
Tour participants will provide their own travel insurance. We
recommend comprehensive insurance cover. You understand and accept
that your proposed tour may expose you to inherent dangers and
you may be traveling through remote areas which can be subject
to, among other things, unfavorable political, physical, health
or climatic conditions.
Contract validity
This tour is valid only when the completed booking form along
with the appropriate reservation deposit (or full payment if the
reservation is made within 30 days of the tour date) has been
received by Insider Tours. Note that up until this time, all itineraries
are provisional. In peak season, high quality accommodation is
often booked up well in advance.
Group reservations
If your reservation is made for a group, the person submitting
the reservation form must have authorization from all participants
listed.
Amendments
As your tour coordinators, we incur nonrefundable expenses in
booking your accommodation, travel arrangements and other tour
costs. Thus changes made by you to your reservation after the
deposit is received may incur an amendment fee of £20/$30
per amendment. Cancellation fees may also be applicable.
Health and fitness
We recommend you visit your doctor and dentist before your tour.
The right is also reserved to decline to accept any person for
any reason, at our sole discretion, or to remove from the program
any person for reasons of health, safety and/or general welfare
of the tour group, or of the individual participant. Baggage and
personal property are carried at the owner's risk entirely.
Cancellation charges
We treat all cancellations sympathetically. However, due to the
nature of these tours, we reserve the right to apply the following
maximum charges if the tour is canceled by the participants for
any reason:
- More than 45 days before the tour: full deposit
- Less than 45 days before tour: 100% of tour price
Liability
Insider Tours accepts no liability for cancellations, delays or
changes that are caused by war, threat of war, airport closures,
civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, technical transport
problems, staff cancellations, negligence or other events or acts
and omissions by others (including our guides and accommodation
providers) beyond our control; participants' medical or psychiatric
conditions which may develop during or subsequent to the tour;
loss of or damage to any personal property of the participants.
Tour modification
Insider Tours reserves the right to modify or substitute appropriate
alternative tour itineraries or arrangements that may become necessary
due to circumstances beyond our control.
Additional tours
We accept that once you arrive, you may wish to arrange additional
tours with our guide. This arrangement is between you and the
guide - but all expenses must be paid to the guide in advance.
Declaration
By clicking the 'submit' button on the Booking Form, you declare
that you have read, understood and accept the above conditions.
